ABOUT THE BODY BUTTER INGREDIENTS
Olive oil – Olive oil is high in antioxidants, including vitamin E. Antioxidants are nutritional powerhouses that protect against age-accelerating free radicals. The oil of this miraculous fruit will guard your body and your skin… from the inside out.
Soybean oil – more and more products are using soybean these days. For years it was an overlooked ingredient, the blacksheep of the beauty industry. In the early 90’s, Scientists noticed that Asian workers in soybean factories who handled soy regularly had hands that were especially smooth and even-toned. While formerly, the refining of whole soybeans would destroy many of the bean’s complex proteins and properties, scientists devised a way to retain the soybean’s naturally active benefits. The soybean helps add a thickness to the body butter.
Castor oil – known for attracting and holding moisture to the skin. Castor oil for skin contains triglyceride fatty acids that are well known for their antiviral and antibacterial properties. The topical application of Castor oil is very effective in curing skin infections. People suffering from skin inflammation, itching and skin irritation, are often advised to use Castor oil to ease the discomfort. The castor oil is what gives our butter its staying power when applied generously to the hands.
Vitamin E –
Vitamin e added to butters, creams, and other skin care products, as well as taken orally, plays a role in the anti-aging of skin. It helps skin look younger by reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Also, free radicals are believed to play an important role in skin aging and therefore the antioxidant activity is quite valuable for this skin problem.
